Sales Coordinator

£13,000 - £16,000 (depending on experience)
Our client manufactures and supplies products to the DIY and furniture markets and is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to be part of their existing team of five.
You role will be to liaise with customers, suppliers and the production team in order to meet customer expectations; the work requires an ability to grasp technical assembling instructions and component dimensions, so previous experience of doing this would be useful.
Duties
· Respond to internal and external customers and make decisions within business parameters to fulfill customer requirements
· Process orders, invoices and credits on time and accurately; liaise with accounts with regard to customer credit issues
· Develop and use product and process knowledge to resolve relevant issues and ensure standards of Customer Service are maintained
· Report Customer and Consumer complaints
· Prepare paperwork and action special orders to Material Department
You will need to be an excellent communicator, good team player, have experience of using Outlook, Word and Excel, and possess superb organization skills. A minimum of 2 years customer service/sales order processing experience and GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent, are preferred.
