The Company
Our clients are a market leader within the oil and gas industries, boasting over 30 years experience within their chosen field, due to recent expansion plans they are now looking to recruit CNC millers to join their existing machine shop team.
The Role
The ideal candidate for this role will be experience with Heidenhien controls, be capable of editing and writing small programs. With the ability to think on their feet to solve minor problems on the machine. A good sound knowledge of milling and manufacturing methods and tooling.To be able to improve run time with speed and feeds and not effect the quality of the product being machined. A good sound engineering background with a proven apprenticeship and or ONC HNC qualification.
Hours & Days:
Working 2 rotating 2 shift system consisting of a days and nights shift this client allows flexibility with starting times, however core hours are to include:- Eg: Days Mon-Thurs - 7.6hrs Friday's - 6.6hrs with a 20 minute break Nights Mon-Wed 10hrs Thursday - 8.5hrs with a 30 minute break As a busy expanding business there is always overtime for those who are interested
About You:
For this role you will be apprentice trained with a minimum of 3 years experience of working with Heidenhien controls and the ability to edit programmes and trouble shoot where necessary, ideally be experience of working with the medium to heavy engineering industry on large components

They also provide a standard boot which costs 14 a pair of up to 3 pairs per year. All PPE is provided free and any person who wares prescription lenses the company will pay for the safety glasses
