Our clients are a precision engineering company working within industries that include Aerospace, Defence and Medical, established over 80 years they have secured themselves an out standing reputation for excellence and are now looking to expand their operation, and looking to recruit a machine shop inspector
The Role
Duties to include inspection and measurement of components, programming of CMM machines
Although initially, this is a temporary vacancy the position will be reviewed after 13 weeks at which point the successful candidate will be considered for a permanent position.
Hours & Days:
Regular days – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-12.30pm Friday
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will be capable of programming CMM, will have experience of small machined parts and sub-assemblies with the motivation to develop within the Inspection team. •General metrology knowledge. •Good understanding of geometric tolerances. •Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. •Competent use of computers and systems. •Good communication skills. •SPC knowledge an advantage.
