Our high profile client is seeking to recruit at the Assistant Manager and Manager grades into their Tax Investigations team locally. This will be a client facing role and it is expected that you will get involved in internal and external marketing and business development. Reporting to a Senior Manager or Director, it is expected that you will liaise with HMRC on all aspects of client matters.
Ideally, you will be qualified CTA or ACA (or equivalent) although this is not as important as the experience you have in the Tax Investigations field. It is likely that you will have worked within HMRC or within another Big 4 or Tier A firm; dealing with a range of investigations. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential as is the ability to take direction but also work to high standards without close supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
